Two diesel generator sets in one container
In July 2018 “GAZTEKHNIKA” LLC on order of the Russian construction company performed individual development of the project and manufactured a backup power plant enclosed in the anti-vandal and noise-protection container with two diesel generator sets on the basis of D246.4 motors made at MMZ and generators MARELLI MXB180LB4. Single capacity of each power unit is 50kVA.
The implemented project features operation of the diesel generators in the Primary-Slave mode. That is at each start of the plant the motors are activated simultaneously and the motor having the least service hours indication takes the main load. Thus, such actuation system is efficient for extension of inter-maintenance periods for the diesel generator sets.
