19 Diesel generator sets enclosed in low-noise containers were delivered to Siberia
In November “GAZTEKHNIKA” LLC delivered 19 diesel power plants to Siberia on order of one of the major enterprises of Krasnoyarsk.
The power generators of container type on the basis of Volvo Penta and FPT (IVECO) motors were designed and manufactured in compliance with the individual requirements of the customer. The power plants have the wattage range from 75 kVA to 700 kVA. The key specific feature of the project is that all DGS are installed in the low-noise containers, which ensure the noise level max. 65dB. These containers are equipped with low-noise silencers and noise suppression chambers at the air flow intake and output, and hot air flow is discharged upwards.
Parallel operation of up to 2 or 3 DGS units and synchronization with the power supply network for the total load were implemented.
The power plants shall be operated as the permanent power sources in the severe climatic conditions of Siberia, therefore all the assembly parts were chosen so as to ensure serviceability of the equipment even at -50 oC frosts. At present the DGS are being prepared for putting into operation.
